Clip to ScrapBook
While I (regular teacher) was eating lunch, two substitutes came in and were talking about students, other teachers, different grades, and impressions based upon their experiences or their child's experiences in certain classrooms.
I think that they really think that we value their critical comments -- I do not.

I know that I will ask to never have these two subs in my classroom. Thankfully, one went on a job interview. I don't want them talking about my students in the teacher's lunchroom or about the way I do this or that. I know that anything that goes on in that school, they blab more than anyone

else. Also, one of the subs came into my room because she found a mistake on the board left by the teacher. She was literally gleeful that she found something the teacher had gotten wrong. My best advice to subs -- keep your comments to yourself.
