Clip to ScrapBook
Isn't there a way I can post a picture on here? I don't know how to do it. Maybe my husband could help me. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. They are mostly crammed more toward the back of the room, nearly on top
of my computers. Actually, I'm sure there is probably no room for access to the computers now that I think about it. She'll have to sort through that problem on Monday morning. I'll try my best to describe the layout. Two students' desks side by side touching, two students desk in front of those two facing each other and touching, but with about a foot of space between those two desks
and the two they are in front of. It pretty much looks like a row of desks in groups of two facing the front of the room, skip about a foot of space and then place a desk turned sideways in front of each of those desks blocking their view of the board. Then it repeats again with a front facing row in front of those sideways desks and then more sideways desks in front of those. So basically half the class is facing the front of the room in groups of two, but the first and third rows are looking face to face in groups of two and pointing toward the side walls. People were walking by, looking in, and shaking their heads. Like I said, she didn't ask my opinion. I had told her a few days ago that I have used a variety of arrangements throughout the year and that some have worked better than others. She didn't seem interested.
