when we first got our projectors/smartboards, we had some cheap-*** projectors (low school district bid) and they were awful--not only were they not very bright, the dark colors washed everything out and the yellow colors were putrid--we upgraded--halleluiah!

also, i have 3 banks of lights, so the center one stays off all day.
