I'm sorry you had to witness this. I'm sure they're still torturing their child at home too. I hope they get him/her counseling, not for the pictures so much, but for the pressure these parents are applying.

I don't
know what the pictures are about, but so many kids draw things they have seen on TV or video games, simply for the experience of drawing them. And, who discusses Columbine with a 3rd grader?! A friend of mine teaches a highly gifted class where all the students have an IQ of 140 or higher. It's a magnet school for that purpose. Children who have been struggling with social problems
THRIVE in that class, because they all deal with things similarly and have common interests. Is there anything like that where you are? He/she needs to be around other kids with common interests so there's not so much of a struggle.

Shame on those parents, though. I need to go home and hug my kids!
