When does this person leave?

I think I'd be counting the days. I had one in the fall. He was nice enough, but lazy, and thought by being a buddy to the kids, that would excuse his lack of planning and going beyond the minimum. Haven't heard from him except to have him ask for a letter of recommendation, and I didn't miss him when he was gone.
