How about Theater?
By m&mTeach

Clip to ScrapBook
A few years ago, I taught an afterschool class and I focused on Theater. It was really a way to address language learning for students who needed the additional support. The students really enjoyed it! They wrote scripts, rehearsed, created props and decorated backgrounds for familiar stories they all knew (little red hen, 3 little pigs, etc). They worked in small groups. It was great because they didn't do the same thing every day. At the end of a few weeks, we invited the other afterschool kids to come and watch the mini performances.
