6th grade By Bookwoman

I use portfolios because parents and students seem to understand progress better. Standardized test data frequently intimidates them. I also like the fact that it allows students who test poorly or have different learning styles to show their growth.
I use standardized test to see which areas need extra work. I can identify weaknesses quickly. I pre/post test each objective to tweak my teaching.
