At our school, the PTO hires a masseuse to come in and give us chair massages! Our Principal allows us 20 minutes of coverage to go and be pampered. They also make up little goodie bags for us. This will be the third year| of massages - prior to that, the PTO gave us little "Teacher-y" trinkets. At the end of the year, they also give us $25 gift cards to a local Teacher Store! In addition, our administrators put out a breakfast spread one day during TA Week. Up until this year, the Board of Ed would do a lunch buffet set up in the Teacher's Room on another day. a new policy in place...no more food/meals provided by the Board!!! We were so looking forward to the yummy lunch, too.
Now, we are all wondering how they will show their appreciation to us!;)
