Not In Your Shoes
By A&W

Clip to ScrapBook
I have an ST this year for the 1st time, and am sooooooo fortunate that she is excellent and professional. Even this said I would review her lesson plans because It was my license on the line. I would go over the lesson
and ask what she had in mind if a particular part didn't go as planned. If she didn't know or gave me that look I would make suggestions. Which I know you have done already, but you have to realize the people that are going to be hurt here are you students. Also I would ask what final product she has in mind. This told me a lot about her thinking and forethought.

I always
try to be objective in the fact that my ST doesn't know everything and I'm there to mentor and teach her as well.

One final note (not an excuse for your ST) I have come across professional teachers that will "hide" behind certain behaviors instead of just saying they don't know what there doing. Perhaps your ST is trying to compensate?

I'll keep reading your dilemma in hopes it turns out for the best.
