Bad day for subs
By Sharon

Clip to ScrapBook
I feel so bad for you and your horrible day of subbing. I have been pretty lucky so far. This is my first year back in the classroom in over 30 years. I had thought that since I am older(a grandma) and had gone through the
adolescent stuff with my own children it would be easier, wrong! Kids are kids, and if they can take advantage of you, they certainly will, even the kindergarten ones(my favorite grade). If I were you I probably would not go back to that school and sub anymore. How awful not to have support from the administration, they should back you up 110%, their behavior is unacceptable. You did your
best under the circumstances.
I have been lucky and believe me, I only go to the schools in our district where I know the administration and the other teachers help you. And I want to thank teachers who do help, that is the best thing for us subs, your help is priceless, don't stop, subs (at least I do) really appreciate this. Again thank you, and to the other Sharon, hang in there.
