I left my teaching job in November because my son was ill. I stayed home for many years and returned to my school to apply for a job. I did get an interview and was hired, as many of the staff were still there and knew what kind of teacher I was (am!). I am very fortunate-I love my school and the staff there. Good luck with your return! It can work! Remain positive and speak towards the positives that you can contribute to the staff.
