Congratulations.

I was looking forward to a new young teacher coming in too. However, I was not as fortunate as you have been apparently.

Someone put up with me quite a few years ago as well, but I had enough respect for the profession to show up on time EVERY SINGLE DAY, and I looked for ways to help rather than be a burden.
