My Way
By biyubelle

Clip to ScrapBook
I think narratives are difficult to read. If your principal has a lot of evals to review, he may be more amenable to your format.

However, if your colleague prefers a narrative, I'd leave her to her own devices.
It is nice that each of you has the option to do it "your way."

Our school system uses a yearly professional growth plan. Our yearly evaluation is based on the objectives contained within that PGP. Our formal instructional evals are done every 3 years and/or every time we are reassigned to a different school or grade. Informal evals are done by the principal yearly. Each principal
devises his/her own format for the informals. Since our lesson plans have to reflect standards, assessment, etc. that is where our principal gathers information on that component of the informals.

I hope this is a bit clearer than mud.LOL
