Some of my most moody students have been the ones who lack enough sleep. If she is telling other students how mean you are, I would consider that disrespectful. I think she should have a consequence for that behavior. Talk to her and let her know this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I would also have her mom in for a conference or to stop by sometime (unexpectably) to see how see is behaving in class. You don't want her behavior to wear off on others.
