milk in missouri
By Jalon

Clip to ScrapBook
Our K-4 grade levels have milk break (snack milk) and it is optional. If students choose either white or choc. milk it is charged against their account. If they don't want milk, it's just a "no thank you" in the morning when I take snack milk count. Some classes have theirs in the afternoon, but we take ours first thing. In my room, students may also have a light snack at their desk with their milk. This is good as some kids get to school with nothing in their tummies or don't eat school breakfast. It seems to start our day off well while they do morning work. It only takes about 10-12 min. I'm not sure if 5th or 6th grades get milk.
