Ms. Teacher#1- obviously someone doesn't think your crazy-- if you're considered a model teacher then you're doing something right! It sounds actually as if you're doing A LOT right! maybe I'm presumptious (spelling?) to
think this way, but I think of Miller and Collins and Harvey and all the rest as more like colleagues, than experts. every book has things I don't really agree with, along with things I love. Think of those gals as the teacher down the hall- and go with your professional judgement. It's certainly a valuable tool- you're the ones with that group everyday, after all! Keep up the good work!


liketeaching- I didn't think you implied that you taught with charts everyday! on the contrary, your post sound like you and and I think alike- you use them judiciously and where needed. my time this year was at such a premium-- it really pared down everything I did to what was most important. I know with your juggling act of the program and workshop, you probably have the same issues.
