Maybe making a dramatic movie on Windows Movie Maker that gets them all riled up and gives them a little schema for the topic?! I can just see it now... the appalled looks on their faces when they find out another animal is becoming somewhat endangered...oh, the faces of kids who want to stand for a cause!
