parent notification
By Tatum

Clip to ScrapBook
I only inform parents if it is a significant drop or if a student is struggling with a concept or hw completion. If the child misses 3 assignments I notify parents. In my opinion you are not required to notify parents of every little slip up. Some responsibility needs to lie wth the child. Parents also need to be looking at papers we send home. I send home Friday folders each week.... I require a signature on every test regardless of the grade. That way I know parents are informed. If they question my grading, I present them with the signed copies of the test.
