professional obligations
By Bertie

Clip to ScrapBook
I bet the advisor is bound by her professional obligations not to discuss the ST's progress with anyone but the lady herself - just like we don't discuss a particular student with anyone but the parents. She sounds reluctant to cross that line, but it seems to me quite possible she is aware of what is going on. I'm betting she's not impressed with the ST's progress either, and sincerely appreciates your efforts.
