Good Luck

1. Google technology grants.

2. I'd check with the technology dept. of your own state department of education. Sometimes they have their own grant programs.

3. Sometimes the Chamber of Commerce or the Rotary Club is willing to award a grant to an individual teacher or school

What you might have to do to get the $5000 is to combine grants or appeals.

Does your school system have a matching funds program? If they do, you would only have to come up with $2500.
