My opinion of her advisor. By HappyHiker

The first time I met the advisor, I loved her. She had walked in just as the ST had left for the day at lunch time. She asked all the right questions, and I got to tell her all the stuff I had been feeling like she needed to know.
The second time I met the advisor, I didn't like her so much. She kind of had the attitude that she and her student teachers were going to do education a favor and retrain all us old battle axes who had been doing this thing all wrong for all these years. Well.......... she wasn't that rude, but it felt like it after putting up with my ST's crap and then being made | | to feel like I was expected to learn from her. She did go along with ST's theory that everything ought to be "fun" all the time. I"ve got student's who are distracted by the eraser on the end of their pencils. One of them was in tears by the time one of this ladies lessons was over one day. He had just had tooooo much "fun." I was ready to cry too.
Third time I met the advisor, I liked her again. She saw what I saw in this student teacher by that time. ST lies and she twists conversations to fit her needs at the moment. I think the advisor finally has been around this woman enough to know this now. She's also figured out that she is not a very good teacher I believe. We'll see how she responds when it comes grade time.
