I have also been plaqued with an unexpected medical issue. I am not worrying about my class at this point. I want to get healthy. I am no good for my students as I stress over whether my illness is more serious than I know as of yet, or if it will be benign. I cannot focus on teaching, I find myselft going the motions of the day and trying to keep up with schedules. I keep my routine structured so that a sub can walk in and take over without much confusion. I say get yourself better, we will be much better support for our students when we can focus on their needs, but in illness, our needs come first. Take care--thoughts and prayers
