Fort Worth has its pros & cons...just like anywhere, but if you're considering this, you really need to research it...maybe go there for a visit first.

Have you looked at Fort Worth's school district website? Many times that's a good place to start.

As far as the house market goes, yes...it's a LOT cheaper than in CA. The cost of living IS cheaper.
