supervisor

Clip to ScrapBook
My last ST's supervisor was a very sweet, elderly and motherly, retired teacher who was probably in it to make some extra pocket money.
She gave my ST great evals, and there were never any suggestions for areas to improve.
Eventhough he was learning by leaps and bounds and was quite talented, there definitely could have been some emphasis on certain areas like classroom management. I felt that the supervisor did not see, or did not want to see, the problems. I also felt that she wanted me to give only good evals as well, because the teaching college had a great reputation for turning out great teachers.
All I had to do was check of the "excellent" boxes.

I'm saying this, because that may also be the case with your ST's supervisor. She may not want to hear negatives because it might reflect on her and the college she represents.
