Our district has been posting openings since March. Then again we are also opening three new schools so we lots of spaces to fill.

I would say around mid April-May. Most teachers thatwill be leaving will start to resign. We had a teacher resign two weeks ago.

Doesn't hurt to start looking now. When I changed districts, I got my job in March.
