I teach in North Florida and our area is facing HUGE budget cuts. Broward County has it schools that are greatand schools that are not so great. As for a letter of intent, I signed one and was then given a list of principals to schedule interviews with. Florida has its issues but I grew up here and have enjoyed teaching here. Hopefully your friend will find a good place to teach at.
