Organization By linda2671

My kids each have a blue folder at their desks where they keep all of their work. Finished work goes in the right pocket. Unfinished work goes on the left side. Nothing goes in their desks. Before they go to specials, I take| up their folders and empty them to grade. Each student also has a red take-home folder. When papers are graded, they go into the red folders, along with notes from the office, homework, etc. Any notes or money the parents want to send comes to me in the red folder. That keeps student papers organized. Then, I also keep a hanging canvas thing right by my desk. It has seven pockets. I | | use one pocket for the papers for each day of the week. The extra 2 pockets are for other things I don't want to lose. For things that go to the office, or for committee stuff, I keep the desk trays on my desk. Finally, almost all of my worksheets and tests are on my computer. I can find them more easily on there than I can in file cabinets. My file cabinets are organized by subject and unit, but I tend to pile things instead of filing them when I'm through with them. The computer works much better. I'm not the most organized person in the world, but I can usually find the things that I need before I need them.
