I pledge to be critical as a reader. I will ask myself the four critical reading questions. I will not just accept what others say, do, and write as I read my world. After repeating the pledge, the kids were officially admitted into the Critical Readers' Society. We're going to post the pledge along with pictures of our society members and a possible "Hall of Fame" section (they'll have to bring in somemthing they read critically to be upgraded to a Hall-of-Famer : ) Hope that helps! :)
