Clip to ScrapBook
Something that has helped me gain a huge amount of confidence in interviews is to actually write down my teaching philosophy and how I would handle certain situations. Because I am so visual, I can almost picture these responses in my head as I talk. It has also helped me sort out and evolve my philosophies, putting into writing my dream classroom. There are no 'right' answers-you have to be true to yourself and your teaching style or else you will be miserable (trying to fit an administrator's mold is a bad idea). When you go to answer the questions, speak from your heart and they will see that this is what you really, really want to do!
