Florida teacher

I teach in Florida and have had overall good experiences for 5 years. Like most of our districts, Broward has some rough areas and some nice areas, so it depends. I may be mistaken, but I was under the impression that the letter of intent guarantees you a job... your friend will still interview with individual schools and still have the choice if several schools offer her a position. But in the case that no principal chooses her (which is unlikely because we have such a shortage of qualified teachers) then they will place her somewhere.
