Not that bad, hopefully

Clip to ScrapBook
The way the pacing guides were presented to us is that each quarter all grade level content teachers will be covering the same benchmarks and indicators. The actual guide will show the indicators (in the order to be taught) along with teacher suggested lesson plans, ideas, and possible time table. As far as I can see the only concrete requirement is that all the benchmarks/indicators are covered by the end of the quarter. I trust my principal, but I also know he is getting pressure to improve the scores. I really don't believe it will turn into Uggh's scenario. I've been at this school for 7 years, so I'm not new. But after reading the last couple of posts I wonder if my rose colored glasses are hiding the writing on the wall.
