Just Relax!
By Angel Star

Clip to ScrapBook
I know it's easier said than done, but you have to try and relax. They will be picturing you in the classroom with the kids...so show them that side of you (while still maintaining a professional image).

You also must
realize that you will probably need to go on quite a few interviews before landing a job. I'm thinking good thoughts for you, but this is just a reality. You'll get better and more relaxed with each one.

What's most important is that you have a strong sense of your beliefs in areas of teaching and management. Don't just have a BS answer, quoted from a book or something...they'll
see right through that! Speak from your heart and be confident.

What I did to prepare was to write possible questions and answers on index cards and do mock interviews either alone or with a friend or relative. You can find possible questions on-line.

Best of luck to you! It really sounds like you are super passionate about teaching. Just with that, you are off to an excellent start!!!
