ugggh, do you teach in my district?

I totally agree with you that it should be a voluntary pacing guide because in the wrong hands it becomes an oppressive tool, as was the case with my previous prince. At my (P.I.) school it became a device to micro manage the teachers. As ugggh mentioned, when she walked in, she wanted to see every teacher at a particular grade level at the exact same page at the same time, using the same scripted language. It was deadly.

Our new principal understands that a pacing guide is only a guide, and he knows that I may be a week behind or ahead of my grade level partners.
