our school is a newer school and is growing every year and because of that, I've had to move classroom every year! it's a real pain to pack everything up but I definately like doing the packing myself so I have an idea where things are. I move my special things to my house. The things I leave at school, I tape securely shut (and I use lots of those huge rubbermaids too) and LABEL it with my name and the contents. I keep a count of how many boxes/tubs I have so it's easier to recollect later. Lakeshore Learning Store (if you have one near you) gave me tons of big boxes to use - you could ask them if you need some.
