Sponge Work Booklets

My kinders have about 15 minutes for sponge work in the mornings before we go to breakfast as a class. I created Sponge Work Booklets for everyone that I put on their tables in the mornings - filled with review sheets.
When they finish a page, I cut off the corner. Then the next day they know to go to a new page. I make new booklets every quarter. Some kids always finish and some come in with only two minutes before breakfast so they never finish. I used to give out individual sheets and collect them everyday and I would redistribute the unfinished ones until they were finished but I like the booklets

better.

The work gives the children something to do while they are waiting for breakfast and it gives me the chance to greet everyone at the door & take care of beg of day details.
Maybe for another grade level I'd do something different but this system works good for my kinders.
