Depending on what your theme is (if you have one), you can gear your reading corner around that. That's what I've always done. Mine is a jungle theme, so my reading corner has vines hanging down, green vinyl cushions to sit on (easy to spray with Lysol!), and stuffed animals on top of the book cases.

Other things I've seen and/or done myself:
*large "body" pillows from Walmart ($8. each) - easily washable
*small swimming pool with pillows in it
*lawn chairs
*small sofa from Goodwill (throw a sheet over it if it looks bad)

There are so many fun things you can do! I spend a lot of time on the reading corner - just because it encourages reading so much! :)
