my morning work
By Maestra

Clip to ScrapBook
Yes, I expect them to finish their morning work. It is usually a DROPS page or another math/ela review sheet. They do the worksheet and then use the rest of the time for independent reading. This total time is 20-25 minutes....sometimes a little longer if things get chaotic first thing in the morning.

We check the page together and they take it home. Occasionally I do collect them and use them for a grade. This keeps them on their toes and I fully expect them to be able to do well on this review work.
