Here's what I remember: 1. What is your definition of Gifted and Talented? 2.
6. Do you feel districts in Texas try to identify students too early for GT? 7. How would you handle a parent who thought that their child shouldn't ever get an answer marked wrong on a paper/assignment? 8. Do inquisitive/argumentative students bother you? If so, explain how you would handle this situation. 9. Would you be willing to attend GT workshops to improve/fine-tune your GT classroom environment? 10. How important is Writing in your GT classroom? 11. Do you think rote memorization is effective in the GT classroom? 12. How is a GT student different from the average student (not including grades/academics)? My interview lasted almost an hour, but that's as much as I can remember. I'm no longer teaching GT, but I did enjoy it! :) I hope that helps. Good Luck! --kelly
