Saxon phonics

I used Saxon Phonics in second grade and liked it. My better students liked the insight it gave them about word structure, and also the history and derivation of words. My lower students benefited from the phonics instruction. It can be a little dry but the games are more interesting and you don't have to do every single part. Adjust it to the needs of your group. I think it's a worthwhile program.
