messy rooms
By Terri

Clip to ScrapBook
It is a teacher's room when they are responsible for everything in it. Not to mention the hundreds of dollars for materials and equipment that they spend themselves. We are visitors in that room and we should respect their space.

You should never throw away anything unless it is a hazard to your health or safety. If you feel there is an issue, ask a neighboring teacher for advice on what to do.

On the other hand, if there are things that the teacher doesn't want stolen, those things should be put away nightly or not be there at all. And I think if a teacher knows he/she will be gone, they have a repsonsibility to make the room clean and orderly.
