Our PTO is also very supportive. They give out $250 Teacher Grants twice a year, and rarely turn any applicant down. For Teacher Appreciation week, they hire a masseuse and our Administration provides 1/2 hour coverage
for each of us to go and get a chair massag! They also give us gift certificates to a local teacher store at the end of the year. In addition to what's done for us, they pay for all of our assemblies, built us (fundraised) a huge playground, padded our gym walls...there's so much! They have a nice fund that provides medical services to those in need as well. Because we have a large

Spanish-speaking population, our PTO president has run several meetings with an interpreter, too!
Our school is very tiny, and attendance at the meetings is low (I go - T stands for Teacher!!), but they sure give their all!
