Clean rooms
By Frank

Clip to ScrapBook
There is "untidy" and there is downright "messy." I would think that a teacher taking a long-term leave of absence would not leave money laying around, opened packs of cookies, used tissues in the drawer, etc. I was not referring
to unfiled papers but stacks and stacks of grocery type items in plastic grpcery bags. There are "teachable moments" that may occur and you might need that ten-year old jar of jelly beans for and then there are times when you just have to throw out thse rock-hard marshmallows from the Fall Festival of two years ago. Plus, there are enough "knick knacks" in here to stretch to Kalamazoo.
The children are constantly touching them and picking them up to "look at them."

If the teacher decides to model unorganization and sloppiness to his or her students, then that teacher better be prepared the next time a note goes home with little Johnny or Susie about his or her messy desk or lost papers.
