Wal-mart teacher of the year

A few years back I won this for our area. I found it more rewarding then teacher of the year because that is a political game at our school....because people in the county drop of nominations or do it at walmart...anyway...I was totally shocked because at the time I didn't know anything about it...I got 1000 dollar check for the school and I spent it for our math department.
