Professional Book Study
By m&mTeach

Clip to ScrapBook
I've participated in several books studies. The first meeting is really important. We create a timeline for the entire year. We looked at our school year calendar and scheduled every meeting along with the chapters we had to have read by that date.

Part of what I enjoyed the most was taking on something new from the reading. We would each have to try on something from the chapter we had read and bring in evidence of its success (student work, teacher created charts, etc). It was great to see how others interpreted and implemented the learning.
