Clip to ScrapBook
i try to give them interesting non-fiction to read; i try to get them to relate the reading to their own lives; i expose them to AWESOME books and i really go on about how great the books are and how they're my favorite; i read with lots of expression; i point out how i use reading skills in my own life (real world inference, slowly phonetically pronouncing difficult words when i come to them reading aloud, and using context clues with them when we find a tricky word)

that's it!
