I am starting a short poetry unit with my 5th graders. The lesson follows the book Love That Dog by Sharon Creech. So it won't post the link -- go to ##########.com and click on writing lessons - chapter book inspired lessons, then scroll down to where you see the novel (its yellow) and click on it.

I'm really excited about it. I had my kids do the art projects for it last week!
