Book Club for Parents

Our district is revamping our reading program. Having a book club is on my agenda for discussion with the administration next week. I am actually looking for the librarian to run book talks and author studies that run by interest rather than grade level, a professional staff book discussion, and a parent reading club. Seems ambitious but I want to see just how much we can get our community on the "same page" about literacy, including those professionals who poo-poo every new, and not-so-new, idea!
