Clip to ScrapBook
If I am teaching a particular strategy during my RW mini-lesson I will sometimes write on the chart as we are discussing or I am demonstrating. Other times I will let the kids bring their sticky notes and clipboards to the meeting area. For example, when we were doing questionning, I gave them three different colors of stickies--one for before we read the book, one for during, and one for a lingering question when we were finished.

At other times I have had them respond on a sticky and place them on the chart and later I will write them for all to see.

The pictures are sometimes better than a thousand words (did I read that somewhere???LOL
