    I teach K in a too small room. K requires a lot of stuff so organizarion is difficult but I try to make the most of every inch. For the kids stuff I have cubbies with hooks underneath to hold backpacks, lunch boxes and snacks. I have mailboxes on the counter behind my desk for their completed work and notes home. I also have a file holder on the corner of my desk for their folders. My desk tends to get cluttered so I try to keep all the things I will need daily in the same spot all the time. Lunch reports and attendance I keep in the top left drawer. Markers, pens, paper clips, ect in the middle drawer. The other drawers hold videos, CDs, DVDs, and folders for special units. Lesson plan book and TEs I keep on top of my desk.

    As for the rest of my room, I keep all the stuff I need for each activity in the area of that activity. I have an easel with storage underneath for my Big Books and other books used during morning meetings. Books for the kids are in bins on low shelves. I have a curtain over the shelves that hold all the manipulatives and center items. All the arts and crafts supplies are in the cabinets under the sink area. Paper supplies, soap, ect are in the cabinet over the sink.
    I have a tall free standing cabinet in the corner behind the front door that stores all my seasonal items along with extra workbooks and supplemental materials.
