Hi 1stgradenew! I think you should be specific about your philsophies (staying away from too many buzz words)

So....

Such and Such Elementary School, 1st grade 2006-2008

Language Arts: Taught reading

through a balanced literacy framework in which children read for sustained amounts of time on their instructional level. Differentiated through daily individual, partner, and small group conferences that targeted... etc etc... Math: Taught math with a focus on problem solving and deep conceptual understandings of topics. etc... JMO- but I think that when people skim

over your resume they should see some things that give them an insight into how you taught day to day.

Good luck... are you looking at a project school??? I will be SO jealous.
